Artisan Mid Grey
The same rectangle in a cool Mid Grey, the one that works with everything already in your wardrobe.
Mid Grey is the neutral of the Artisan pair. Where the espresso version leans warm, this acetate is cool and faintly smoky, and it borrows tone from whatever you are wearing instead of fighting it. Same block-cut Italian cellulose acetate, same sixty-plus polishing steps. Dimensions are 51-20-145 across a 141 mm front with a 41 mm lens, a middle-of-the-road size that is the reason this frame so often ends up being the household spare. If two people are sharing one pair of amber glasses for evening use, this is the geometry least likely to annoy either of them.
Two tints, two jobs
Amber holds the room together. Red takes it apart.
Amber lensEvening wear0.10% measured at 450 nm, the melanopsin peak, climbing to 66.6% at 560 nm and 96.3% at 600 nm, so skin tones and warm lamps still look close to normal. Luminous transmittance 50.5%, Filter Category 1, indoor and outdoor.
Red lensOnce you are done for the dayZero measured transmission across the whole 380 to 560 nm span. The first light through is 5.8% at 570 nm, rising to 92.9% at 700 nm. At 14.9% luminous transmittance and Filter Category 3, this is an indoor lens only.

Fit
Will the Artisan fit you?
Check the arm of a pair you already own, where the first of the three numbers matters most. Between 49 and 53 mm and the Artisan will land well. This is a medium 141 mm front, so it suits a face that finds 149 mm frames drifting outward at the temples. The 41 mm lens is deep enough to cover the field you actually use without touching your cheeks when you smile.
