Regent Crystal Clear
A flat brow line above 45 mm of clear-rimmed lens, built to block from the top down.
The flat top is the working detail on Regent. A level upper rim sits closer to the brow than a curved one, which closes the gap where overhead light normally slips in above the lens. Underneath it there is 45 mm of lens depth, near the deep end of the range, so the rose field runs from brow to well below the pupil. Measurements are 55-17-140 on a 141 mm front, a wide fit rather than an extra-wide one. The transparent version lets all of that geometry work without a dark border framing your face.

FL-41 LightMild photophobia, every dayThe lighter of the two rose tints, drawn for all-day indoor wear. It cuts the same rose-band notch as FL-41 Dark but at a higher overall transmittance. FL-41 DarkSevere photophobia indoorsAbove 570 nm the lens deliberately opens up, 44.2% there and 100% past 670 nm, so the rose band stays intact. Below that it does the work: 13.8% at 450 nm and 12.6% at 520 nm. Filter Category 2 at 41.1% luminous transmittance.

Fit
Will the Regent fit you?
At 141 mm across the front Regent is a wide frame, a step up from medium but short of Astor's extra-wide. The 55 mm eye is large and the 17 mm bridge relatively narrow for it, which keeps the frame from riding low. Lens height of 45 mm is deep, so check your brow-to-cheekbone distance if you have a short face. Temples are 140 mm, on the shorter side, and suit a head that finds 150 mm arms overlong.
