The widest eye in the range hung from the narrowest bridge, the way a navigator is supposed to sit.
Altair inverts the usual proportions. Its eye is 56 mm, the largest we cut, while the bridge is 15 mm, the narrowest. That combination is what gives the navigator outline its look and also what makes it fit closely: a narrow bridge keeps a big lens from drifting outward, so 44 mm of lens depth stays where it is aimed. The 137 mm front keeps the overall width medium despite the large eye, and 140 mm temples run slightly short. It suits a face with a defined nose bridge that narrow fittings do not slide off.

FL-41 DarkStrong light, indoors or outThe curve dips through the blue and green bands, 13.8% at 450 nm and 12.6% at 520 nm, then lifts hard and reaches 100% above 670 nm. At 41.1% luminous transmittance it sits in Filter Category 2 and carries 100% UV protection.

Fit
Will the Altair fit you?
Altair is medium at 137 mm across the front, but the 56 mm eye makes it look larger than that. The 15 mm bridge is the narrowest here, which suits a well-defined or higher nose bridge and will feel tight if yours is broad. At 44 mm the lens is deep, giving coverage well below the pupil. Temples are 140 mm, a touch short, so they suit a smaller head. If the bridge pinches, Halcyon opens to 22 mm.
