Seraphic Gun Black
A wayfarer cut in gunmetal-toned acetate — the pair you can wear to dinner and still have on when the lights go down.
The Seraphic is hand-cut from solid Italian cellulose acetate and polished across more than sixty separate steps, which is why the gun-black finish reads as depth rather than paint. At 48-21-145 on a 140 mm front it sits in the middle of our range: narrow enough for a slimmer face, wide enough that the temples never pinch. As blue light blocking glasses for sleep it is the pair most people reach for first, because it looks like an ordinary frame and behaves like a circadian tool.
Two tints, two jobs
Amber through the evening. Red for the last hours before bed.
Amber lensEvening and all-day wear0.10% measured transmission at 450 nm, the melanopsin peak. Luminous transmittance 50.5%, Filter Category 1, so it is rated for indoor and outdoor use. This is the lens for the hours between sunset and your wind-down.
Red lensThe last hours before bedZero measured transmission from 380 to 560 nm — the entire blue and green band removed. Luminous transmittance 14.9%, Filter Category 3, indoor use only. Put it on two to three hours before you want to be asleep.

Will the Seraphic fit you?
Look inside the arm of a pair you already own for three numbers. If your lens width is between 46 and 50 mm you are in Seraphic territory. The 21 mm bridge is on the generous side, which suits a flatter or wider nose bridge better than a narrow keyhole frame does. The 40 mm lens height keeps the wayfarer shape shallow enough to stay out of your cheeks when you smile.
