Celestial Camel Tone
Camel-toned acetate on the widest front in the Heritage group.
At 149 mm across, Celestial has the broadest front of any Heritage frame we list, and the large square outline makes no attempt to hide it. Eye size is 54 mm against a narrow 16 mm bridge, which keeps the two lenses close together so the width reads as lens rather than as gap. Lens height is 44 mm. The front is hand-cut from Italian cellulose acetate and polished across more than sixty separate steps, and camel is the tone where that depth of finish is most visible.
Two tints, two jobs

Amber lensEvening wear, indoors or outFilter Category 1 and 50.5% luminous transmittance put this tint in the indoor and outdoor bracket. At the melanopsin peak of 450 nm it measures 0.10%, and it recovers to 96.3% by 600 nm.
Red lensThe last hour indoorsFrom 380 to 560 nm measured transmission is zero, so blue and green are removed entirely. Only long wavelengths pass: 5.8% at 570 nm, 49.7% at 600 nm, 92.9% at 700 nm. Luminous transmittance 14.9%, Filter Category 3, indoor use only.

Will the Celestial fit you?
With a 149 mm front, Celestial Camel Tone is a wide frame and needs broad temples to sit level. The 16 mm bridge is narrow, so the frame grips a slim nose bridge well but may feel tight on a wide one. At 44 mm the lens is deep, giving coverage below the pupil but asking for vertical room between brow and cheek. Temples are 145 mm, standard length. This is a large frame in every direction except the bridge.
