Eclate Copper Canyon
Copper-toned acetate that meets the rose lens halfway instead of arguing with it.
Color choice is not cosmetic on a tinted frame. A cool rim next to a warm lens makes the tint look like a filter; a warm rim lets the two read as one object. Eclate Copper Canyon takes the warm route, in Italian cellulose acetate hand-cut from a solid block and polished across more than sixty separate steps. The geometry is unremarkable on purpose: 49-20-145 on a 139 mm front with 40 mm of lens depth, a medium fit that suits most faces. The result is a frame that looks like a choice rather than a device.

FL-41 DarkWhen the room is too brightFilter Category 2, 41.1% luminous transmittance. The blue band is attenuated rather than cut, 7.9% at 420 nm and 13.8% at 450 nm, and the green band drops with it to 12.6% at 520 nm. Everything from 670 nm up passes at 100%.
All figures are single-lens spectrophotometer measurements from our own laboratory reports for this lens, tested to EN ISO 12312-1, ANSI Z80.3 and AS/NZS 1067.1. Individual response varies.
Fit
Will the Eclate fit you?
Eclate is a medium fit at 139 mm across the front and should work on an average temple width. The 49 mm eye is small and the 20 mm bridge wide for it, a pairing that holds the frame high and off the cheek. Lens depth is 40 mm, enough to cover the direct line of sight and the top of the downward one. Temples are 145 mm, standard. A broad face will want Regent or Magnus instead.
