Hudson Crystal Clear
Wayfarer geometry with the rim taken out of the picture entirely.
Take the same 52-19-145 wayfarer and make the front transparent and two things change. The frame stops announcing itself across a meeting room, and the boundary between lens and rim softens, so the tinted area feels larger than its 40 mm depth. The 139 mm front keeps it medium. The 19 mm bridge is the detail worth noticing: it is unusually open for a 52 mm eye, which spreads the load and is why this frame tends to be comfortable in hour nine rather than only hour one.

FL-41 DarkHigh-glare environmentsThis is the darker of the two rose lenses. It reads 7.9% at 420 nm, 13.8% at 450 nm and 12.6% at 520 nm, then releases the long end, 44.2% at 570 nm and 100% above 670 nm. UV protection is complete at UV400.

Fit
Will the Hudson fit you?
A medium fit at 139 mm, Hudson Crystal Clear works on an average temple width. The 19 mm bridge is open, useful if you have a low or flat nose bridge where narrower frames slide. Lens height of 40 mm gives coverage past the pupil without touching the cheek on most faces. Temples measure 145 mm. Clear fronts show scratches and skin oils more readily than black, so the cloth in the box earns its keep.
