Regent Crystal Clear
The deepest lens in the range, carried on a rim you can barely see.
Regent runs a flat top rim across a 55 mm eye, which produces a hard horizontal line above the brow and squares off the whole face. Its 45 mm lens height is the deepest here by some margin, and on a 141 mm wide front that translates into the largest continuous tinted area we make. The bridge is narrow at 17 mm, so despite the size the frame sits close on the nose rather than sliding. Clear rims keep all of that from looking like a mask.

Amber lensAny lit room after sunsetTransmission sits at 0.10% at 450 nm, the melanopsin peak, and at 0.48% at 500 nm. By 600 nm the lens is passing 96.3%, which is why faces and screens still look like themselves. Luminous transmittance 50.5%, Filter Category 1.
Red lensThe last hour before sleepThis tint measures zero from 380 all the way to 560 nm. Beyond that it climbs, 5.8% at 570 nm to 92.9% at 700 nm, and it carries 100% UV protection (UV400). Indoor use only at Filter Category 3.

Fit
Will the Regent fit you?
Regent is a wide frame at 141 mm across the front and suits broader temples. The 17 mm bridge is narrow for that width, which helps the frame stay put but will feel tight on a wide nose bridge. At 45 mm the lens is very deep, so on a short midface the lower rim can reach the cheek when you smile. Temples are 140 mm, shorter than most here, which suits a head that is wide rather than long.
